ABA is the process of thoroughly applying intervention based upon the principles of learning supposition to improve socially insignificant behaviors to a meaningful degree and to express that the interventions employed are responsible for the improvement in behavior.

Applied BehaviorAnalysis helps children with autism spectrum disorders to develop a strong set of social skills that will help them in any setting. These skills translate not only into a school or public setting, but even into later life in workplace and business scenarios. The many skills built through ABA therapy are a testament to the continued success of the method and provide strong reason as to why it has been the preferred method of autism treatment for decades.

Happy children

Applied Behavior Analysis therapy has given hope and helps to children and parents dealing with autism spectrum disorders for over 50 years and is still the leading treatment in the United States and the world. All individuals are a part of at least one culture. These cultural contingencies shape behavior, behavior that will or might not be acceptable or familiar to behavior analysts from another culture. To better serve people, assessments and interventions should be selected with a thought of cultural factors, including cultural preferences and norms. The aim of this manuscript is to provide suggestions to function a start line for developing behavior analysts’ cultural awareness skills. We also tend to award methods for understanding behavior analysts’ personal cultural values and contingencies and those of their clients, integrating cultural awareness practices into service delivery, management, and skilled development and changing into culturally aware in everyday practice.
